These are anime that made us feel really emotional, whether we were sad, angry or happy. I know there will be anime I mention that didn’t hit you emotionally or anime that hit you emotionally and I haven’t mentioned. It will be my own list and I hope you enjoy.
WARNING: Contains Spoilers!
Tatsumi (Akame Ga Kill) -SADNESS
Incursio! Tatsumi’s armor Incursio evolved and went above and beyond when fighting the emperor, we were super hyped and pumped for him to splatter some emperor blood. Tatsumi fought his heart out and gave it all he had and still kept on fighting. The armor the emperor was in came crashing down on the people! But Tatsumi got in between them and used up every bit of blood to fuel himself to stop the collision. This ultimately led to his death and it was a hero’s death.
Goku arrives before Frieza (Dragon Ball Z) -HAPPINESS
Just before Frieza was about to kill Vegeta, Goku lands next to them surprising everyone with his talk of confidence and his self-belief of his skills and power. If your a Dragon Ball Z fan then you now this was an intense moment and we were more thrilled than ever to see Goku. Saying that he could handle the rest and we couldn’t wait for it to begin.
Maes Hughes (Full Metal Alchemist) -SADNESS
Maes Hughes was a lovable and funny character who had a wife and cute daughter, he would boast out of love about his daughter. It was so cute and funny. But when he was ruthlessly murdered it tore our hearts out and we wanted to rip off someone’s head and cry. There were scenes where his daughter would ask “Where’s daddy?” And man… it was painful to watch.
Griffith (Berserk) -ANGER!
After all The Band Of The Hawks did and the way Guts and Casca loved him, Griffith turned around and did the unthinkable. Griffith makes a deal with demons, rapes Casca (Gut’s lover) tosses her aside like last nights chutney and kills of his own army. This is the biggest betrayal in history, check out my post about Griffith the “Worst Best Friend Ever”
Shirley (Code Geass) -SADNESS
This is the saddest and most emotional thing I’ve witnessed in an anime. Lalouch murdered Shirley’s father, erased her memory, knew he was murdering people and whiles she was dying she admitted that through all that, she still couldn’t stop loving him. What an emotional roller coaster, after her death I stopped watching Code Geass for a couple of weeks because I couldn’t stand that she was no longer there.
